SUMMER FISHING REPORT

JUNE/JULY- Summer Time! With the warm temps come fired up redfish! By the end of June, our mullet have started to show up and the redfish get summertime happy. Topwater plugs, spinnerbaits, and live mullet all get the job done on these fish! In addition, we see plenty of flounder action (catch and release) with some early morning, or late evening trout mixed in. The Spanish bite has plateaued in our area, but still some to be had. Nearshore trolling on pretty days this time of year can yield a king mackerel, sharks, or barracuda!
